FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Aktar is the Founder and Managing Partner of ACRE Equities. Mr. Aktar founded ACRE on the principle that Great design leads to Great business. His focus is not driven only by financial gains, but also by the positive impact on society, neighborhoods, and all stakeholders. Mr. Aktar currently oversees all operations of ACRE Equities.

Mr. Aktar brings over a decade of real estate experience, both as an investor and developer. As a trained architect, and construction manager, he initiates a hands-on approach to all investments. He began his career as a junior architect designing multi-family assets in New York City, followed by his initial investments in real estate targeting turn-key student housing opportunities in New York, & Pennsylvania.

Mr. Aktar is an active member of his community, mentoring students of underserved communities interested in pursuing a career within the real estate industry.

Mr. Aktar graduated from Fordham University with a Masters of Science in Real Estate, and a joint Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Architecture and a Joint Certificate in Construction Management from City University of New York.

He is currently a full member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the American Real Estate & Urban Economics Association (AREUEA).
